Caddels’ first incarnation was in 2007 as the legal team of MBA International. In 2011                      led a management buyout of MBA’s legal practice and created a search house capable of meeting the broader objectives of our clients.

Since then, we have developed in to one of the most active search practices in the legal market, we have successfully delivered every project where we have been retained, and we have completed some of the largest team moves and acquisitions the legal market has seen.

We act for a small group of National, Regional, Niche, US, Silver and Magic Circle firms. We always ensure conflicts are well managed, only taking on projects we have time to complete. We work with leadership teams on partner appointments, team moves, firm acquisitions and many other unique elements of the wider growth strategy. We also represent Senior Laterals (often with teams) wanting to move their practice, as well as the principals of smaller firms looking for an exit.
